A Little Woodland Magic for Your Desk! 🌲⌨️🎮

Welcome to the Forest, Bru. Your Keyboard Just Got a Serious Glow-Up!

Who says a mechanical keyboard needs to look like it belongs in a spaceship or a military command centre?

Sometimes all you need is a little woodland magic!

Meet the 8BitDo Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard – Forest Wonder Edition, a beautifully designed retro-inspired keyboard that combines charming pixel-art styling with modern mechanical keyboard technology.

Part of 8BitDo's officially Xbox-licensed Cozy Collection, Forest Wonder takes inspiration from miniature woodlands, winding paths and the little surprises hidden in pixel-art worlds.

But don't let those adorable looks fool you!

Underneath that cosy exterior is a proper mechanical keyboard featuring 87 keys, custom Core Green tactile switches, hot-swappable construction, RGB backlighting, Bluetooth 5.3, 2.4GHz wireless connectivity and a massive 4000mAh rechargeable battery.

And yes, bru, it even comes with 8BitDo's famous oversized programmable Super Buttons!

Cosy woodland vibes. Serious mechanical goodness. Maximum lekker! 🌿

Forest Wonder. A Little Pixel-Art Adventure on Your Desk! 🌳

Imagine a peaceful pixel woodland filled with winding paths, hidden discoveries and tiny moments of wonder.

That's the inspiration behind Forest Wonder.

Its charming green colour scheme and playful details make this keyboard a refreshing alternative to ordinary gaming peripherals.

Whether you're exploring your favourite cosy games, working from home or building a woodland-themed gaming setup, the Forest Wonder Edition brings a little personality to every keystroke.

And the best part?

It's officially licensed by Xbox, making it part of 8BitDo's unique Cozy Collection.

Your desk just became a little more magical, bru!

87-Key Tenkeyless Layout. Compact but Capable! ⌨️

The Forest Wonder features an 87-key tenkeyless (TKL) layout, providing the essentials without a bulky numeric keypad.

You still get dedicated function keys, arrow keys and navigation controls.

But there's more room on your desk for your mouse, coffee and all those little gaming accessories you've collected.

Whether you're gaming, typing, coding or studying, it's a practical layout that balances functionality with desk space.

Less clutter. More room for adventures!

Core Green Tactile Switches. Feel Every Keystroke! 💚

Here's something special!

Forest Wonder features 8BitDo Core Green tactile mechanical switches, co-developed with switch manufacturer Kailh.

Unlike smooth linear switches, tactile switches provide a noticeable bump during the keypress.

That means you can feel when the switch actuates, providing satisfying feedback while typing.

Whether you're working through emails, writing code or enjoying your favourite games, the Core Green switches offer a distinctive mechanical typing experience.

And because these are tactile rather than deliberately clicky switches, they don't use the same intentional click mechanism as Kailh Box White V2 switches.

A little bump. A satisfying press. A whole lot of mechanical happiness!

The keyboard still produces normal mechanical typing noise and is not silent.

Hot-Swappable PCB. Your Keyboard, Your Rules! 🔧

Fancy experimenting with different mechanical switches?

No problem!

Forest Wonder features a hot-swappable PCB, allowing compatible mechanical switches to be replaced without soldering.

You can experiment with suitable 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches to create your preferred typing feel.

Want a smoother linear experience?

Go for it!

Prefer more pronounced tactile feedback?

You've got options!

Your keyboard. Your switches. Your perfect typing adventure!

RGB Backlighting. Fireflies in the Forest! ✨

Here's where Forest Wonder really comes to life!

The keyboard features RGB backlighting with eight lighting modes.

8BitDo describes the lighting as resembling little fireflies flickering through a quiet forest at night.

It's a beautiful finishing touch that complements the woodland-inspired colour scheme.

Switch between the available lighting effects to find a look that suits your workspace.

Whether you're enjoying a late-night gaming session or simply want your desk to look extra cosy, the RGB lighting adds plenty of atmosphere.

Lights down. Fireflies on. Welcome to your little digital forest! 🌈

Dye-Sublimation PBT Keycaps. Built for Everyday Adventures! 💎

A beautiful keyboard deserves quality keycaps.

Forest Wonder features dye-sublimation PBT keycaps, designed to withstand everyday typing.

PBT is popular among mechanical keyboard enthusiasts because it generally resists developing a shiny surface better than conventional ABS keycaps.

The keycaps feature an MDA-like height, giving the keyboard a distinctive retro-inspired typing profile.

Whether you're gaming, working or writing your next masterpiece, the keycaps combine practicality with lovely styling.

Beautiful to look at. Satisfying to type on. Proper keyboard goodness!

Dual Super Buttons Included. Big Buttons, Big Fun! 🔴

Now this is where things get really interesting!

Forest Wonder includes 8BitDo's famous Dual Super Buttons.

These oversized programmable buttons connect to the keyboard and can be assigned supported keyboard commands.

Want a giant undo button?

Sorted!

Need a shortcut for a frequently used function?

Easy!

Or perhaps you simply enjoy the satisfaction of pressing a massive arcade-style button?

Bru, we completely understand! 😂

The Super Buttons also support fast mapping, allowing basic key assignments without installing software.

For more advanced configuration, use 8BitDo Ultimate Software V2.

Dedicated Xbox Button. Game Bar at Your Fingertips! 🎮

Forest Wonder includes an integrated Xbox button.

On compatible Windows PCs, pressing it opens Windows Game Bar.

This gives you convenient access to supported gaming overlays and tools without remembering a keyboard shortcut.

It's a thoughtful little addition that complements the Xbox-licensed design.

One press. Game Bar ready. Proper clever!

Three Connection Modes. Wireless Freedom Sorted! 📡

Why settle for one connection method when you can have three?

2.4GHz Wireless

Use the included USB adapter for convenient wireless typing and gaming.

Bluetooth 5.3 Low Energy

Pair the keyboard with a compatible Windows or Android device.

Wired USB

Prefer a direct connection? Simply plug in the USB cable.

The keyboard also includes a magnetic adapter storage compartment, helping keep the wireless receiver safely organised.

Wireless freedom. Wired convenience. Your choice!

Independent Control Panel. Retro Controls Done Right! 🎚️

One of 8BitDo's signature Retro Keyboard features is its independent control panel.

Instead of relying entirely on complicated function-key combinations, you get physical controls for managing connections, volume and supported button-mapping functions.

There's also a handy volume control knob.

Simple, tactile and wonderfully retro.

Even turning up your music feels lekker on this thing!

4000mAh Battery. Up to 300 Hours of Wireless Happiness! 🔋

Nobody wants their keyboard running flat in the middle of an adventure.

Thankfully, Forest Wonder features a generous 4000mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

According to 8BitDo's specifications:

• Up to 280 Hours via 2.4GHz wireless.
• Up to 300 Hours via Bluetooth.
• Approximately 4–8 Hours charging time.
• USB charging.

That's an impressive amount of potential typing time between charges.

And when the battery needs topping up, simply connect the cable.

Your virtual crops might need watering long before this keyboard needs charging! 🌱

Battery life varies with RGB lighting, usage and connection settings.

N-Key Rollover. Every Keypress Counts! ⚡

Whether you're gaming or typing at full speed, accurate key registration matters.

Forest Wonder supports N-key rollover, allowing multiple simultaneous keypresses to register.

It's particularly useful for gaming, shortcuts and fast typing.

Combine that with its tactile switches and top-mount construction, and you've got a keyboard designed for enjoyable everyday use.

Cosy looks. Proper performance!

Ultimate Software V2. Make It Your Own! 🛠️

Love customising your gaming gear?

The Forest Wonder keyboard supports 8BitDo Ultimate Software V2.

Use the software to configure supported features such as:

• Key remapping
• Programmable button functions
• Custom macros
• Shortcut assignments

The keyboard also includes function shortcut keys and Fn Lock for additional everyday convenience.

Your keyboard. Your shortcuts. Your woodland rules!
