8BitDo Retro R8 Wireless Gaming Mouse – Forest Wonder Edition | Cute Looks. Serious Gaming Power! 🌲🎮🐿️

Welcome to the Forest, Bru. Your Gaming Desk Just Got a Whole Lot Cuter!

Who says gaming gear needs to be black, aggressive and covered in flames?

Sometimes a little woodland magic is exactly what your desk needs!

Meet the 8BitDo Retro R8 Wireless Gaming Mouse – Forest Wonder Edition, a gorgeous gaming mouse that combines charming pixel-art aesthetics with impressive modern gaming technology.

Part of 8BitDo's officially licensed Xbox Cozy Collection, Forest Wonder takes inspiration from peaceful woodlands, winding forest paths and the little surprises waiting around every corner.

But don't let those cute looks fool you!

Underneath its beautiful design is a serious gaming mouse featuring a PixArt PAW3395 optical sensor, up to 26,000 DPI, HUANO micro-switches, four programmable side buttons, Bluetooth 5.3, 2.4GHz wireless connectivity and an included multifunction charging dock.

Whether you're exploring cosy farming games, battling enemies in your favourite shooter or simply working through a busy day, the Retro R8 delivers a fantastic combination of style and performance.

Cute enough for a cosy gaming setup. Powerful enough for serious PC gaming. Now that's lekker! 🌿

Forest Wonder. A Little Pixel Woodland on Your Desk! 🌳

Some gaming accessories are designed to look intimidating.

Forest Wonder takes a completely different approach.

Inspired by miniature pixel-art forests, the design features soft woodland colours and playful details that bring a peaceful, nostalgic personality to your workspace.

Think cosy gaming evenings, beautiful pixel adventures and those wonderfully relaxing games where you spend three hours planting digital potatoes.

We've all been there, bru! 😂

Whether you've got a pastel gaming setup, a woodland-themed desk or simply want something different from the usual black gaming mouse, Forest Wonder is a fantastic choice.

It's like having a little piece of your favourite pixel-art adventure sitting right beside your keyboard!

PixArt PAW3395 Sensor. Small Mouse. Massive Precision! 🎯

Don't mistake adorable styling for entry-level performance.

The Forest Wonder Edition features the PixArt PAW3395 optical sensor, designed for accurate and responsive gaming.

With sensitivity reaching up to 26,000 DPI, you can configure the mouse for different gaming styles.

Prefer lower sensitivity for careful aiming?

Sorted!

Want faster cursor movement across multiple monitors?

No problem!

Whether you're navigating a competitive FPS, playing strategy games or editing detailed graphics, the PAW3395 delivers capable tracking performance.

The woodland might be peaceful, but your aiming certainly doesn't have to be!

Six Adjustable DPI Levels. Your Sensitivity, Your Rules! ⚡

Every gamer has a preferred mouse sensitivity.

That's why the Retro R8 features six adjustable DPI levels, allowing you to switch between configured sensitivity settings.

For more detailed control, use 8BitDo Ultimate Software on your PC.

Set your preferred sensitivity for gaming, everyday productivity or creative work.

One mouse. Multiple playstyles. Zero drama!

Up to 8000Hz Polling. Seriously Fast! 🚀

Here's where Forest Wonder shows its competitive side.

Despite its charming design, this mouse supports impressively high polling rates.

Connection Mode	Supported Polling Rate
Wired USB	250–8000Hz
2.4GHz Wireless	250–4000Hz
Bluetooth	125Hz

Higher polling rates allow the mouse to report movement and button information more frequently to your PC.

That can be particularly useful in fast-paced games where responsive input matters.

Actual performance depends on your computer, connection mode and configuration.

Cute forest mouse on the outside. Competitive gaming hardware on the inside!

HUANO Micro-Switches. Built for Up to 100 Million Clicks! 🖱️

A gaming mouse needs buttons that can keep up with everyday use.

The Retro R8 features HUANO micro-switches, rated for up to 100 million clicks.

Whether you're playing games, browsing the internet or working through an endless pile of emails, the switches are designed for repeated use.

They deliver a crisp, tactile click that feels right at home on a premium gaming mouse.

A hundred million clicks? Bru, that's a whole lot of digital adventures!

Four Programmable Side Buttons. Work Smarter, Game Better! 🎮

Why settle for ordinary mouse controls?

The Retro R8 includes four programmable side buttons, providing convenient access to additional functions.

Through compatible 8BitDo Ultimate Software, you can assign supported actions such as:

• Weapon switching
• Common game commands
• Browser navigation
• Keyboard shortcuts
• Creative application tools
• Supported macros

Whether you're gaming or working, having extra controls close to your fingertips can make your setup more convenient.

More buttons. More possibilities. Less finger gymnastics!

Left-Handed or Right-Handed? Everybody's Invited! 🤝

The Retro R8 features a symmetrical design with support for left-handed and right-handed button modes.

Using compatible software, you can configure the mouse's control orientation to suit your preferred hand.

It's a thoughtful feature that makes Forest Wonder more flexible for different users.

Left hand, right hand – the forest welcomes everyone, bru! 🌲

Three Connection Modes. Goodbye Cable Chaos! 📡

Why settle for one connection option when you can have three?

2.4GHz Wireless

Use the included USB adapter for responsive wireless gaming.

Bluetooth 5.3 Low Energy

Enjoy convenient wireless connectivity with compatible devices.

Wired USB

Prefer a direct connection? Use the included cable for wired operation and charging.

Whether you're gaming at your desktop, working on a laptop or enjoying a cleaner workspace, there's a connection mode to suit your needs.

Wireless freedom when you want it. Wired performance when you need it!

Multifunction Charging Dock. Your Mouse Has Its Own Little Home! 🏡

Now this is one of the coolest features of the Retro R8.

The Forest Wonder Edition includes a matching multifunction charging dock.

And it's more than just a stand!

The dock offers three useful features:

Charging: Place your mouse on the dock to recharge its internal battery.

Wireless Signal Extension: Position the included receiver through the dock to bring the wireless connection point closer to your mouse.

Adapter Storage: Keep the 2.4GHz receiver organised when not in use.

And because it matches the Forest Wonder aesthetic, it looks fantastic sitting on your desk.

Even your mouse gets its own cosy little home. How lekker is that? 🐿️

450mAh Battery. Up to 105 Hours of Wireless Adventures! 🔋

Nobody wants their mouse battery dying halfway through an adventure.

Thankfully, the Retro R8 features a 450mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

According to 8BitDo:

• Bluetooth Battery Life: Up to 100 hours.
• 2.4GHz Battery Life: Approximately 26–105 hours, depending on polling rate.
• Charging Time: Approximately 2.5 hours.
• Charging Method: Included charging dock or supported USB charging.

That's plenty of potential gaming and productivity time between charges.

And when the battery needs topping up, simply return the mouse to its dock.

Your virtual crops might need watering long before your mouse needs charging! 😂

Lightweight 77g Design. Comfortable Everyday Control! 🪶

A comfortable mouse makes a big difference during longer sessions.

The Retro R8 weighs approximately 77g, giving it a relatively lightweight feel.

Its compact dimensions of 115 × 58 × 39.4mm make it a great choice for users who prefer a smaller gaming mouse.

Whether you're playing games, studying or working, the design offers a practical balance between comfort and control.

Small footprint. Big personality. Proper clever!

8BitDo Ultimate Software. Make It Yours! ⚙️
